OIL REPLACEMENT
Keep the vehicle level to prevent an error in checking the oil level.
1. Raise the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
2. Remove the transmission oil level/filler plug.
3. Remove the transmission oil drain plug and drain oil into a suitable container.
4. Install a new washer on the transmission oil drain plug, then reinstall the plug into the transmission.
Tightening torque: 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
5. Add approximately 1.3 quarts. (1.25 Liters) of API GL-4 or GL-5, 75W-90 oil through the transmission oil level/filler plug. The oil level should
be even with the bottom of the transmission oil level/filler plug hole.
6. Install a new washer on the transmission oil level/filler plug, then reinstall the plug into the transmission.
Tightening torque: 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
7. Lower the vehicle.
