3. Using needle nose pliers, fully rotate the square portion of the contact switch CLOCKWISE.

Is there continuity between the BLK and RED/GRN wire, and is there no continuity between the BLK and WHI/RED wire?
Yes: Check lock cylinder wiring harness.
No: Replace Lock Cylinder Contact Switch.
