Lock Cylinder Switch: Service and Repair

Front Door Lock Cylinder Contact Switch / Removal

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and lower the front door glass completely, then carefully remove the front door inner mirror garnish.

Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

2. Remove the three front door trim panel screws.
3. Remove the front door trim panel pull cup, then carefully release the front door trim panel retaining clips.
4. Raise the front door trim panel up and away from the door, then slide the inside door handle through the opening in the panel.
