Rear Bumper: Service and Repair

REAR BUMPER
Removal

1. Remove the four bolts that secure the left rear mud guard to the fender.
2. Remove the four bolts that secure the left rear mud flap to the fender.
3. Remove the mud flap.

Rear Bumper

4. Remove the four bolts that secure the right rear mud flap to the fender.
5. Remove the mud flap.
6. Support the bumper securely.
7. Remove the four nuts that secure the left rear bumper stay.
8. Remove the left rear bumper stay.
9. Remove the four nuts that secure the right rear bumper stay.

10. Remove the right rear bumper stay.
11. Disconnect the connector for the license plate lamp.
12. Remove the bumper.

Installation

-

Install in reverse order of removal.

Tighten rear bumper stay nuts to 15 lb-ft (20 N.m)
