1. Reposition the rear hatch Micro Switch on the lock cylinder arm (white plastic) then reinstall the Micro Switch screw.

NOTE:  Do not over-tighten the Rear Hatch Micro Switch screw.

2. Route the Micro Switch harness, then connect the switch harness connector to the vehicle harness connector.
3. Reinstall the rear hatch trim panel.

NOTE:  Ensure that the rear trim panel is correctly positioned prior to installation.

4. Verify that the Theft Deterrent System is operating correctly by:

Closing all doors, the hood, and the rear hatch.

Closing all doors, the hood, and the rear hatch.

Locking either front door using the key and confirming that the horn makes one quick sound, indicating the Theft Deterrent System is
activated.
