Radiator: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
CAUTION: Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Removing the radiator cap from a hot engine could result in a serious burn. Wrap
a thick cloth around the radiator cap when removing it.
1. Remove the under cover.
2. Remove the radiator cap, loosen the drain cock, and drain coolant into a container.
3. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses.
4. Disconnect coolant reservoir tank hose.
5. Remove the fresh air duct. When installing fresh air duct, tighten bolts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
NOTICE: Do not damage the radiator fins. Damage to the fins will affect the unit's ability to radiate heat.
