Sportage 2WD 4Dr L4-2.0L (2000)
18. Remove coolant pump.
19. Remove two tensioners from coolant pump.
Tighten timing belt tensioners to 32 ft. lbs. (43 Nm)
20. Clean gasket mating surfaces.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the coolant pump in reverse order of removal with new gasket.
Tighten coolant pump mounting bolts to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm).
Tighten idler pulley bolt to 32 ft. lbs. (43 Nm).
2. Start the engine.
3. Add additional coolant as required as the engine comes to operating temperature.
4. Replace the radiator cap and check for leaks.
