Oil Pressure Warning Lamp/Indicator: Testing and Inspection
Circuit Testing
Low Oil Pressure Indicator
1. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" and note that the low oil pressure indicator illuminates.
2. If indicator does not illuminate, check RED/WHT wire between switch and indicator for an open.
3. Disconnect C148 from the low oil pressure switch.
4. Note that the low oil pressure indicator goes OFF.
5. If indicator does not go OFF, check RED/WHT wire between switch and indicator for a short to ground.
