Brake Warning Indicator: Testing and Inspection
Brake Warning Indicator
Be sure that the parking brake is fully released before testing.
1. Disconnect the connector from the brake fluid level switch.
2. Connect a jumper wire between the WHT/BLK pin and body ground.
3. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" and check that the "BRAKE" warning indicator illuminates brightly.
4. If there is no illumination, check the fuse, bulb and wiring harness.
