The brake light bulb is turned on and off by a brake light switch mounted near the brake pedal and actuated by movement of the brake pedal. Refer to
Brake System, for adjustment of the brake (stop) light switch.
The backup light is turned on/off by a switch mounted on the transmission. When the transmission is shifted into reverse gear, the switch is closed to turn
on the backup lights.
The hazard and turn signal bulb is controlled by the combination switch installed on the steering column. Refer Steering System for removal/installation
information. Refer to the wiring diagrams for service information on the combination switch.
The flasher unit is located in the relay box under the left side of the instrument panel.
