1. Check the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) for discoloration.
2. Check the ATF for any unusual odor.

NOTICE:

If the ATF is burnt or discolored, it indicates possible burned friction discs and clutch plates.

Carefully check the condition of the ATF and determine whether or not the automatic transmission fluid should be changed or that a possible
transmission internal malfunction exists.
