Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Testing and Inspection
Hood Switch / Inspection
1. Reconnect the Hood Switch Connector and measure for voltage at the WHT/BLU wire with all passenger doors closed, and the Hood Switch
depressed.
Specification: Approximately 4.27 V
2. Disconnect the Hood Switch and check the BLK/WHT wire for continuity to ground.
Yes: Go to next step.
No: Check for and open wire.
