Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Description and Operation

Hood Switch

The Hood Switch senses the hood is either OPEN or CLOSED. This switch is an on/off type (normally CLOSED) providing continuity to ground (hood
OPEN).

The Hood Switch is located in the radiator support.
