Power Steering Fluid: Testing and Inspection
Fluid Level Check

1. Unscrew the power steering reserve tank cap.

2. Check that fluid level is between marks "H" and "L" on the caps dipstick.

NOTE:
Use Dexron (R) II-E ATF or M-III fluid only. Other types of fluid can affect the seals and hoses, resulting in leaks and possible failure of the
power steering system.

3. Add fluid as required to bring fluid level to above "L", but not above "H" on the dipstick.

4. Install cap on reserve tank.
