6. Remove the front fork bolts and remove both halves of the front fork.
7. Remove the drop link.
8. Remove the spring and shock absorber assembly from the vehicle as an assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the spring and shock absorber assembly into the upper mounting block.
2. Install the mounting block nuts by 3-4 threads only (accessible near the top of the inner fender well).
3. Insure the front of the vehicle is raised and supported with safety stands.
4. Install the front fork and tighten the front fork bolts to both halves of the front fork.
Tighten the front fork bolts to 36 ft. lbs. (48 Nm).
5. Assemble the drop link and install the drop link nut. Keep the head of the drop link in the forward position.
Tighten the drop link nut to 145 ft. lbs. (197 Nm).
6. Insert the stabilizer bar into the drop link and tighten the nut.
Tighten the nut to 36 ft. lbs. (48 Nm).
7. Install the wheels and secure with lug nuts.
Tighten the lug nuts to 74 ft. lbs. (100 Nm).
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Tighten the mounting block nut.
Tighten the nut to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
10. After installing the front shock absorber and coil spring assembly, measure the wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
