Clutch Pedal Assembly: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove clip and pin.
2. Remove return spring.
3. Remove nut, washer and bolt.
4. Remove spacer and two bushings.
INSTALLATION
1. Install new pedal pad if needed.
2. Install new stopper if needed.
3. Install two new bushings if needed. Apply lithium base grease to the bushings and pivot points.
4. Install nut, washer and bolt.
Tighten nut to 20 ft. lbs. (27 Nm).
5. Install new return spring if needed.
6. Install push rod with clip and pin.
7. Measure and adjust pedal free play if needed.
Free play: 0.50 inch (12.7 mm)
Tighten push rod adjustment locking nut to 20 ft. lbs. (27 Nm).
