2. Put spacer on the axle, then using suitable snap ring pliers, install axle retainer snap ring. Apply grease to both sides of the snap ring.
3. Apply sealant to free wheel hub body mounting surface (Sealer: 3 bond No. 1104 or equivalent).
4. Install hub and tighten six bolts, in two passes, in the order shown.
First pass: Tighten hub mounting bolts to 19 ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
Second pass: Tighten hub mounting bolts to 23 ft. lbs. (31 Nm).
