4. Prime an area approximately 3/4 inch (19 mm) wide around the perimeter of the glass. Use Essex U401 or equivalent.
5. Prime the contact area on the body with Essex 413 or equivalent.
6. Reprime the same glass with Essex 402 or equivalent.
7. Install the molding onto the glass.
8. Install the inside molding.
NOTE: The following cure times may be critical. Attempting to replace a windshield in ambient temperatures over 95 °F (35 °C) should be
avoided because the surface of the sealant may harden before completing the application.
