Quarter Window Glass: Service and Repair
Rear Doors

Quarter Glass (Rear Doors)

Removal

1. Remove inner glass weatherstrip.
2. Remove the door trim.
3. Remove two screws on the pull handle bracket.
4. Peel off the plastic door screen carefully by pulling it away gradually from the door frame.

5. Remove quarter glass:

a. Reconnect window operating switch.
b. Turn on the ignition and position the door glass about halfway.
c. Turn off the ignition.

Quarter Glass

d. Remove one screw and one bolt on the quarter glass channel.
e. Remove two glass retaining bolts from the regulator assembly.
f.

Lower and tilt quarter glass piece carefully. Hold the glass from both its inner and outer surfaces and push it down, then tilt it towards the door
handle side.

g. Remove door glass carefully. Hold the glass from both its inner and outer surfaces. While tilting it towards the hinge side of the door, pull it

out from outside the door frame.

h. Remove quarter glass carefully. Hold the glass from both its inner and outer surfaces and tilt it towards the door hinge side and pull it out from

outside the door frame.

6. Remove the quarter glass channel.

Installation

1. Position quarter glass channel.
2. Install door glass carefully.
