The Hi-Scan Pro will reprogram the ECU automatically. (See the ROM ID table on the front page for previous and new ESP module ROM ID's.)

When the "REPROGRAMMING COMPLETED" message is displayed, turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Wait at least 3 seconds and then
re-install the current system software card into the Hi-Scan Pro. Inspect the indicator lights as described on scan tool screen. All indicator lights
should be OFF.

If equipped with 4WD, a DTC P1765 will be stored and must be erased before the vehicle is returned to the customer. The 4WD indicator will be
ON unless the code has been cleared.
