Shift Cable: Adjustments

1. Slide rubber boot to left and pull inner cable lightly until resistance is felt, then hold.

2. Measure gap, Fig. 3. Measurement should read 0.031-0.059 inch wide.
3. If width is not within specification, adjust control cable.
4. Loosen locknut. Turn adjusting nut in desired direction to achieve specified width.
5. When proper width is achieved, tighten lock nut to specification.
