Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Testing and Inspection
Front Shock Absorber and Coil Spring Assembly
1. Push the front of the vehicle in a downward motion several times; listen for any abnormal noise and watch for failure to come to an immediate rest.
2. Inspect for shock absorber damage and/or oil leakage.
3. Remove and replace if damaged or leaking.
4. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
5. Visually inspect the front coil springs for damage and/ or cracking.
6. Road test the vehicle to check effectiveness of shock absorbers.
7. Remove and replace if damaged or cracked.
