Door Lock Cylinder
Removal

CAUTION:  When a removing or installing any electrical units, wiring or electrical connectors, disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent
possible short circuits which could lead to personal injury and/or property damage.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove door trim. 
3. Remove two nuts on the pull handle bracket.
4. Remove the pull handle bracket.
5. Remove the speaker.

a. Remove four screws on the door speaker
b. Unfasten the harness connector from the door frame.
c. Pull out the speaker and disconnect the connectors

NOTE:  Peel the plastic door screen off carefully so that it can be reused.

6. Peel off the plastic door screen carefully by pulling it away gradually from the door frame.
7. Disconnect the outside door handle rod of the door lock assembly from the outside door handle.
8. Disconnect the lock cylinder rod of the door lock assembly from the door lock cylinder of the door handle.
9. Remove two mounting nuts on the outside door handle.

10. Remove the outside door handle.
11. Remove lock cylinder retainer from the outside door handle.
12. Remove lock cylinder from the outside door handle.

13. Remove lock cylinder seal from the outside door handle.

Installation

1. Install lock cylinder seal in the outside door handle.
2. Install lock cylinder in the outside door handle.
3. Install lock cylinder retainer on the outside door handle.
4. Position the outside door handle as originally positioned.
