Place sensor in opening, as if installing. Rotate sensor to align bolt hole in base plate with the threaded hole in the knuckle.
Using a felt marker, identify the area of interference. Remove sensor and carefully remove .020" - .040" from the base plate where marked.
Remove burrs and/or sharp edges, wipe the tip of the sensor clean of magnetic particles, and apply a rust preventative to area that was ground.
