2. Using a screwdriver with vinyl tape or something similar wound around its tip, hold the cut back valve plug and remove the cut back retainer with
a magnet. Remove the cut back valve plug, cut back valve and cut back valve spring.
3. Remove one cover bolt on the front valve end cover. Loosen the other bolt slightly to move cover as shown. Remove secondary regulator valve
and secondary regulator valve spring. Remove the remaining loose cover bolt to remove the front valve end cover.
Caution: When moving the cover, be sure to hold the valve with your finger to prevent the secondary regulator valve and spring from jumping
out.
4. Remove the throttle cam bolt, washer, throttle valve cam, cam return spring, and cam spacer.
