Brake Shoe: Service and Repair
Installation

1. Install control lever on secondary shoe with new C-clip.
2. Connect the parking brake cable to secondary shoe with pliers.

3. Attach secondary shoe to backing plate with hold down pin and spring clip.
4. Attach one end of anchor spring to secondary shoe and the other to primary shoe.
5. Position primary shoe and install hold down pin and spring clip.

6. Install adjusting assembly.
7. Install return spring with spring wrench.
8. Install adjusting lever and adjusting lever spring.
9. Install brake drum and wheel.
