Loosen the clamp retaining the fresh air duct to the air cleaner housing.

Remove the fresh air duct from the engine then remove (and keep) the fresh air duct clamp and discard the fresh air duct.
5.
Loosen the four (4) cooling fan mounting nuts.
* NOTICE
Do not remove the cooling fan mounting nuts at this time.
6.
Loosen the generator pivot bolt and tensioner mounting bolt.
7.
Relieve belt tension on the fan pulley by turning the generator drive belt adjusting bolt counterclockwise (CC).
