Oil Pressure Warning Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation
Low Oil Pressure Indicator
Battery voltage is supplied to the instrument panel indicator lights and gauges from the "METER" fuse when the Ignition is in "ON" or "START."
When the switch in the oil pressure sensor closes, ground is applied to the low oil pressure indicator light in the instrument cluster, causing the lamp to
illuminate.
