Remove and discard the new A/C compressor shipping caps then install the compressor using the four (4) existing bolts. Torque the bolts to
specification.
Tightening Torque:
18 ft-lb (24 N.m)
CAUTION
The A/C compressor is shipped with a slight nitrogen gas charge. Always wear eye protection when removing the shipping cap bolts and caps.

Lower the vehicle.

Install the new discharge hose onto the A/C compressor using one (1) existing bolt, then torque the bolt to specification.
Tightening Torque:
18 ft-lb (24 N.m)
9.
Connect the discharge hose to the condenser, then use two (2) wrenches to tighten the fitting to specification.
Tightening Torque (discharge hose to condenser fitting):
16 ft-lb (22 N.m)
