Dimmer Switch: Description and Operation
With the light switch in "PARK" or "HEAD," battery voltage is applied to the I/P dimmer switch through the Parking Light Relay and "TAIL" fuse. A
solid-state circuit in the I/P dimmer switch dims all the components in the circuit by varying the amount of voltage applied to the lights.
