Disconnect PCV hose from surge tank.

Disconnect IAC connector.
7.
Remove two (2) bolts attaching air intake pipe assembly to valve cover and three (3) bolts attaching air intake pipe assembly to throttle body.

Remove bolt attaching resonator chamber to valve cover bracket, and loosen screw clamp attaching flexible air intake hose to air intake duct.
Remove air intake duct and resonator chamber as an assembly. (Discard throttle body to air intake duct gasket.)
9.
Disconnect purge solenoid, brake booster hose and (if equipped) 4 wheel drive solenoid vacuum hose. On 1997 vehicles, disconnect EGR solenoid
vacuum and vent hoses (note position of hoses for correct reconnection) and EGR differential pressure hose.
