Shift Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the connector from the TCM.
2. Measure the resistance between ground and pins 11, 12 and 13.

Resistance should be between 11 - 15 ohms (at 63° F [20° C])

3. Apply battery positive voltage to pins 11, 12 and 13. Verify that a solenoid operation noise (click) can be heard from the applicable solenoid valve

at the transmission oil pan.
