Sportage EX 2WD L4-2.0L (1997)
2. Install the oil pump stator shaft assembly and assembly bolts. Tighten the bolts.
Tightening Torque: 54-78 inch lbs. (6-9 Nm)
3. Install the oil seal rings onto the stator shaft. Once in place, contract them to lock them together. Verify that the oil seal rings rotate smoothly.
NOTICE: Be careful not to open the seal rings more than necessary to install them.
4. Check that the drive gear rotates smoothly.
