RECALL ACTION D822/C822 - REVISED
This revision of Service Bulletin R93-004 contains updated information about Parts, Warranty, and Vehicle Identification. Please discard the original
bulletin issued on 11/24/93 and replace it with this one.
DESCRIPTION OF DEFECT
Investigations into reported premature exhaust leaks from the exhaust downpipe to manifold joint on Defender 110's have established that the manifold
nuts specified have been susceptible to torque relaxation. All Defender 110's will be the subject of an Emissions Recall. This will involve the
replacement of the existing manifold nuts with parts to a revised specification.
VEHICLES INVOLVED/CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION

Customer notification will begin during the week of November 29, 1993. A sample of the customer notification letter is included in this bulletin.
