The heater fresh air intake is situated in the passenger side front fender. Below the intake grill, within the engine compartment, is a molded duct. This
duct incorporates the water drain valve. (Figure 1)

1.

Access the drain valve and squeeze the valve by hand.

2.

If water drains out, clean the surface of the valve with a degreasing agent.

3.

Remove the upper grill and ensure no debris or foreign material is lodged in the drain.

4.

Pour a small quantity of water through the air intake to confirm satisfactory operation of the valve. Water must drain through the valve unaided.
