SITUATION:
HAZARD FLASHER FAILS WITHOUT FUSE BLOWING
Under certain conditions the hazard unit could suffer internal electrical damage even if the 30 Amp "E3" fuse does not blow.
RESOLUTION:
CAREFUL CHECK OF FUSE AND FLASHER UNIT WHEN AFFECTING REPAIRS
Whenever repairs to the hazard warning system, such as wiring, lamps etc, have been performed, the 30 Amp fuse in the under-bonnet fusebox should be
checked, together with the hazard unit (PRC8876) for full functionality.
