NOTE:

The steering lock stop bracket must be mounted back in the original position.

With assistance, position the hub assembly and tighten the hub to axle bolts to 100 Nm (74 lbf-ft).

22.

Position the brake hose to the hub mounting bracket, install the lock nut and using two wrenches tighten the lock nut to 15 Nm (11 lbf-ft).

Connect the brake pipe to the brake hose and tighten the union nut to 15 Nm (11 lbf-ft).

24.

Remove the clamp from the brake hose.

25.

Remove the swivel housing filling plug and add approved swivel housing grease.

26.

Install the filling plug.

27.

Install the drag link to hub, tighten the nut to 40 Nm (30 lbf-ft) and install a split pin to secure the nut.

28.

Install the track rod, tighten the nut to 40 Nm (30 lbf-ft) and install a split pin to secure the nut.

CAUTION:

Use only new brake fluid of the recommended grade. Brake fluid will damage paint finished surfaces. If spilled, immediately remove/clean
area with water.

NOTE:

Ensure the fluid in the reservoir is maintained between the minimum and maximum levels throughout the bleed procedure using new brake
fluid.

Bleed the brake system.

30.

Clean the area surrounding the brake caliper bleed nipple and the flexible connection hose to hub mounting bracket.

31.

Install the road wheel and tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (103 lbf-ft).

32.

Lower the front of the vehicle and check/top-up the brake fluid reservoir as necessary.

REPLACE PASSENGER SIDE SWIVEL PIN HOUSING OIL SEAL (60.15.41)

Raise front of vehicle.

2.

Remove road wheel.

3.

Remove the split pin and the nut securing the track rod to the swivel hub. (Figure 11)
