Blower Motor: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Check Maxi-Fuse MF2 of the Engine Compartment Fuse Box (P125).
2. Check Fuse F15 of the Fascia Fuse Box (P126).
3. Check Fuse F6 of the Satellite Fuse Box 1 (P127).
4. If the Front Blower Motor (M101) does not stop running with the Front Fan Speed Switch (X247) in Position 0, replace the Front Fan Speed

Switch (X247).

5. If the Rear Blower Motor (M145) does not stop running with the Passenger's Rear Fan Speed Switch (X246) in Position O, replace the Passenger's

Rear Fan Speed Switch (X246).

6. If fresh air does not enter the vehicle cabin with the Air Supply Selector Switch (X180) in the Outside Air position, check the Air Recirculation

Solenoid (K123) and linkage for sticking or binding.

7. If the blower motor(s) operate with the ignition key removed, replace the Ignition Load Relay (K127).
8. If the blower motor(s) run but not at the speed indicated by the Fan Speed Switches, replace the appropriate Fan Speed Switch.
