Washer Jets Weep

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

SITUATION:

FRONT WASHER JETS LEAK

The owner may complain that the front washer jets weep and leave fluid on the hood surface. This symptom may be caused by the check valve location
being too far removed from the jet. Washer fluid trapped between the check valve and the jet can expand due to engine compartment temperatures and
weep onto the hood.

RESOLUTION:

INSTALL NEW TUBING WITH CHECK VALVE

Installation of a new tubing assembly with revised check valve location will resolve the weeping problem.

Disconnect the washer hose assembly from the washer jets. (A and B in Figure 1)
