Timing Cover: Service and Repair

Gasket - Timing Gear Cover

Service Repair No - 12.65.04

Remove 

1. Remove oil pick-up strainer. Please refer to: Vehicle/ Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/ Engine/ Engine Lubrication/ Oil Pick Up/Strainer/ Service and

Repair/  See: Engine Lubrication/Oil Pick Up/Strainer/Service and Repair

2. Remove timing gear cover oil seal. 
3. Remove engine oil filter. 

4. Remove and discard 3 bolts securing coolant pump pulley and remove pulley.

5. Remove 3 bolts securing Power Assisted Steering (PAS) pump pulley and remove pulley. 
6. Drain cooling system. 

7. Release clip and disconnect coolant hose from coolant pump.
