Release and remove the pressure regulator solenoid valve electrical harness securing clip. (Figure 1)

4.

Disconnect the electrical connector. (Figure 1)

5.

Remove five screws securing the pressure regulator solenoid valve housing. (Figure 2)

6.

Release and remove the pressure regulator solenoid valve and housing assembly from the valve body.

7.

Clean the new pressure regulator solenoid valve housing and mating surface with a lint free cloth.

8.

Align the new pressure regulator solenoid valve and housing assembly to the valve body.

9.

Start the five screws securing the pressure regulator solenoid valve housing by hand. (Figure 2)

10.

Fully tighten the screws to 8 Nm (62 lbf.in)

11.

Install the electrical connector to the pressure regulator solenoid valve.

12.

Install harness-securing clip. (Figure 1)

13.

Refer to RAVE section 44.40.01 and install the automatic transmission valve body assembly.

14.

Fill the transmission with new Dexron III fluid.

15.

Check and top up ATF fluid to the correct level, following the procedure outlined in the Maintenance section of the RAVE Workshop Manual.
