Identify the tilt cables which attach to the tilt mechanisms at both sides at the back of the seat. (Figure 1)

Repair each cable with a spiral cut sleeve from the repair kit (HAK500120) as follows:

Insert the split of the sleeve over the tilt cable.

Wind the sleeve onto the cable until the sleeve is completely wound o,

^

Push the sleeve in an upward motion until the sleeve is inside the seat back and is no longer visible.

4.

Lock the seat in the upright position.

5.

Operate the tilt mechanism and tilt the seat forwards.

6.

Repeat the lock and tilt operation at least six times.

7.

Verify that the protective sleeve remains in the installed position and is not visible when the seat is tilted forward.
