Front Seat Tilt Lever Inoperative

SITUATION:
INOPERATIVE SEAT TILT MECHANISM
A customer may report a concern of difficulty in operating the front seat tilt mechanism or that it is inoperative. The tilt lever cable may be trapped
between the seat-squab and seat-cushion when operated.
RESOLUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTIVE CABLE SLEEVE
Should a customer express concern about inoperative seat tilt mechanism, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to install a protective
sleeve to the tilt release cable. The sleeve will prevent the cable from binding against the seat cushion material.

DDW WARRANTY CLAIMS:
DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

INSTALL CABLE SLEEVE SET

Actuate the front seat tilt handle and tilt the seat forwards.
