WARRANTY

REPAIR PROCEDURE

REPLACE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

1.

Open the driver's door.

2.

Move the driver's seat fully rearward.

3.

Remove the installed brake light switch as follows: (Figure 1)

Disconnect the brake light switch electrical connector.

Rotate the switch 45 degrees counter-clockwise to release the bayonet fitting.

Remove the switch from the bracket aperture.

NOTE:

The pedal should have returned to the up-stop but it should not be held by hand against the up-stop.
