Knocking Noise from Front Suspension
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:
LINK NUT NOT FULLY SEATED CAUSES NOISE
Situation:
A noise from the front suspension area of the vehicle may be the result of the front stabilizer bar link nut not being fully seated as the result of excess
paint in the joint.
Action:
Should a customer express concern, install new nuts that secure the stabilizer bar to the stabilizer bar link following the Repair Procedure outlined in this
bulletin.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
INSTALL AND TIGHTEN NEW LOWER STABILIZER BAR NUTS
WARNING:
Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.
