Intermittent No-Start and Trip Function Resets to Zero - Repair Procedure

CONDITION SUMMARY:

ENGINE WILL NOT START AND TRIP FUNCTION RESETS ITSELF TO ZERO

Situation: 

The engine may intermittently fail to start and the trip function resets itself to zero.

NOTE:

Performing this Repair Procedure on VINs between 8H000212 - 8H051069 will also correct the concern addressed in Service Bulletin LTB00094.

Action: 

In the event of a customer concern of the above, follow the Repair Procedure outlined below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

RECONFIGURE THE BODY CONTROL MODULE, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONTROL MODULE AND SOLAR SENSOR

CAUTION:

Land Rover IDS DVD109 Patch File 4 and the Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply are required.

CAUTION:

Only select the Body Control Module, Instrument Cluster Control Module and Solar Sensor Configuration when performing this Technical
Bulletin.
