Inspect vehicle for bloom or a milky type of stain. (Figure 1)

Subject the vehicle to a 30 minute bake cycle at 60°C (140°F) in a conventional spray booth/oven.
CAUTION:
When using an infra red curing unit, appropriate actions must be taken to protect plastic components from heat damage.
4.
If a spray booth/oven is not available, apply localized heat from an infra-red curing unit.
5.
When the vehicle or sheet metal is cool, polish the affected area.

Situation:
At Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) upon removal of the transit protection Wrapguard, it may be noticed that there are some paint stains underneath the
Wrapguard. This staining can be described as bloom or a milky type of stain. This type of stain is generally caused by moisture being trapped under the
Wrapguard.
