Special Service Tools
Removal 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. 

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands. 

Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Remove the transmission crossmember. 

4. Release the RH rear H02S wiring harness.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Disconnect the catalytic converter from the exhaust manifold.

^

Remove and discard the 2 bolts.

6. Remove the catalytic converter.

^

Remove the 2 nuts.

^

Discard the gasket.
