'Squeak' / 'Squeal' Noise After Selecting Recirculation
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE
CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
After selecting 'Recirculation' on the climate control panel, a 'squeak' or 'squeal' noise is heard. The noise is generated by the movement between the two
resin linkages due to dust contamination of the lubricating grease.
NOTE:
The Repair Procedure has changed extensively. The previous Repair Procedure is no longer valid and must no longer be performed.
Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, follow the Repair Procedure outlined below to lubricate the two recirculation flap resin linkages.
