Attach one foam pad (QZL500010) to the front face of the direction indicator switch. (Figure 6)

14.

Attach one foam pad (QZL500010) to the front face of the wiper switch.

INSPECT ROTARY COUPLER PART NUMBER AND REPLACE DRIVE PEG SLEEVE (IF NECESSARY

NOTE:

Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows:

Restraint System

1.

Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-20B: Supplemental Restraint System (76.40.01) to remove the driver airbag module.

2.

Rotate steering wheel to verify rotary coupler part number:

If rotary coupler part number YRC500060 is fitted, replace the cylindrical drive peg sleeve with the ribbed sleeve provided in the kit, ensuring
the sleeve if fully seated. (Figure 7)

If rotary coupler part number YRC500060 is not fitted, continue to step 3

Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-20B: Supplemental Restraint System (76.40.01) to install the driver's airbag module.

INSTALL LOWER AND UPPER STEERING COLUMN SHROUDS

1.

Remove ignition key.

2.

Install the steering column lower shroud.

3.

Install the steering column upper shroud.

4.

Connect positive and negative battery cables.
